Chestnut People
The chestnut characters came about when I was developing my book project ‘Do Not Let Out’. I always liked the English saying ‘… that old chestnut‘ and every time when I hear that saying an old chestnut character pops up in my head. This screen printed chestnut above is in a pickle calling for help. (2017)
