Shiro
This story is one of the most well known Japanese folk tales "‘Hanasaka Jiisan’. The original story is about virtue and vice, and the main character is an old man. I set the background to modern day and changed the main character to a boy. Folktale story line can be brutal, but I highlighted the friendship with a boy and a dog. I hope you feel uplifted when you finish reading my version of the story. (Book project -2017)
